About BetterStreams

BetterStreams is built by one person to fix the parts of Twitch streaming that nobody else was solving.

Who's behind it

I'm Rohan, a software engineer. I streamed on Twitch as Noom for years before building BetterStreams. Most of what shipped first came directly out of problems I was hitting on my own channel: rewards I had to toggle one by one before every game switch, no way to see which redeems my viewers actually used, and a stack of tools that didn't talk to each other.

The streaming-tools landscape is full of automation frameworks aimed at people who are comfortable writing code or learning a complex action graph. There's almost nothing built for streamers who just want their channel to behave well without owning a side project. BetterStreams is for that group.

The blog covers what I've learned running my own stream and what I keep hearing from other streamers running into the same things. If something's wrong or unclear, reach out at hello@betterstreams.tv.

Why this exists

Most streaming tools are automation engines first and channel point tools as an afterthought. None of the major ones track redemption analytics. None offer reward profiles that switch automatically when you change games. And the ones that come closest still require you to recreate every reward from scratch inside their tooling.

BetterStreams treats channel point management as the core problem and builds automation around it, not the other way around. That gap is the whole reason it exists.
